The child-neurology world meets in the Yucatán

Why Mérida

Capital of Yucatán and gateway to the Maya world, Mérida pairs colonial plazas with easy access to Chichén Itzá and Uxmal. Its emblem is the ceiba — Ya'axché — the sacred tree the Maya believed connected earth, sky and the underworld.

It is a fitting symbol for a congress about connection: bringing minds together to transform the lives of children with neurological conditions.
