About the talk
The talk begins with the epidemiology of sleep disorders across the spectrum, then covers the ICSD-3 classification and the role of various evaluation instruments — questionnaires, sleep logs, actigraphy, and overnight polysomnography (PSG). Clinical features and therapeutic strategies are presented in tabulated form, with reference to relevant therapeutic studies in pediatric sleep. Representative cases are then described to illustrate the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders in real-life scenarios, before the talk closes with take-home messages.
