About the topic

A healthy brain is the foundation of every child's development, learning, wellbeing, and future potential. Yet millions of children worldwide continue to face preventable risks to brain health and unequal access to neurological care.

This lecture explores brain health across the life course, from pregnancy through adolescence, and highlights the critical role of prevention, early intervention, equitable healthcare, and multidisciplinary collaboration. It calls on healthcare professionals, policymakers, educators, communities, and families to work together to ensure that every child has the opportunity to achieve optimal brain health.
