Dave Lysecki, MD, is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Pediatrics, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Palliative Medicine. He is the founder of the Quality of Life & Advanced Care program at McMaster Children's Hospital; the Division Head of Pediatric Palliative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University; the Medical Director of the future Keaton's House - Paul Paletta Children's Hospice; the Medical Director for Canada's Pediatric Palliative Care Alliance; and the 2024 recipient of the Pediatric Chairs of Canada Emerging Leader Award. He has a clinical interest in advanced pain and symptom management in children with serious illness and is known for his research in pediatric palliative care program development.
