Dr E. Ann Yeh, MA, MD, FRCPC, Dip ABPN. Professor of Paediatrics (Neurology) at the University of Toronto, Director of the MS and Neuroinflammatory Disorders Program and Fellowship Program at SickKids, and Senior Scientist and Co-Director of Clinical Trials at the SickKids Research Institute. Dr. E. Ann Yeh earned her AB from Harvard University(cum laude) in East Asian Languages and Civilizations, followed by an MA from McGill University in Social Studies of Medicine and Anthropology, and completed her MD at McMaster University Medical School. She completed her paediatrics residency at McMaster University and her paediatric neurology training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She then worked as an assistant professor at the State University of New York in Buffalo, New York before joining The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto in April 2012. Her research focuses on visual outcomes and rehabilitative interventions in paediatric demyelinating and neuroinflammatory disorders, particularly in relation to physical activity and therapies for paediatric multiple sclerosis (MS) and related conditions. She has led multiple interventional and multi-institutional observational studies in these fields and has authored over 225 publications. Dr. Yeh is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Pediatric Chairs of Canada Academic Leadership Clinician Practitioner Award, serves on the editorial boards of Neurology and Multiple Sclerosis Journal, and is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders (MSARD).
