Dr Helen Branson, BSc, MBBS. Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and a staff neuroradiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). She completed her BSc. in Zoology and Marine Sciences and her MBBS at the University of Sydney, Australia followed by residencies and fellowships in general medicine, radiology and pediatric radiology at the Children’s Hospital Westmead in Sydney and advanced subspecialty training in neuroradiology and cardiac radiology at SickKids. Dr. Branson has a particular interest in the fields of neonatal imaging and neuroinflammatory brain disease. As a clinician-educator and researcher, she has authored over 100 publications and is recognized for her leadership in advancing imaging-based approaches to improve diagnosis, outcomes, and care for children with neurodevelopmental and neuroinflammatory disorders.
