About Topic:
The session will explore the relationship between music and the brain, with particular emphasis on the positive effects of music in neuropsychiatric disorders, brain myelination, and overall neurodevelopment. It will also examine the interaction between music and epilepsy.
The webinar will include demonstrations of traditional vocal music, with a comparative discussion of Eastern classical traditions and Western classical music. In addition, the session will touch upon the historical evolution of Indian classical music across different periods, and examine the influence of Eastern and Hindustani classical music on the human mind, supported by findings from published scientific literature.
