6 months old with gelastic seizures
There is a mass lesion in the tuber cinereum which approximates cortex on both T1 and T2 weighted imaging. It does not enhance. There is no significant mass effect or displacement of any adjacent structures and no hydrocephalus. The brain is myelinating appropriately for a child of this age. The ventricles appear slightly dysmorphic and the hippocampi slightly vertically oriented particualrly on the left.
