Dr. Seda Kanmaz graduated from the Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Türkiye. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, Türkiye. From 2016 until 2020, she held a position as a resident at the Ege University Medical Faculty Department of Pediatrics, Division of Child Neurology. She successfully concluded the pediatric neurology training program in March 2020. She is currently employed within the identical department as Associate Professor of Pediatric Neurology. She is a member of the ICNA, FLICNA, EPNS and the Turkish Child Neurology Association. Her clinical and research focus centers on pediatric epilepsy, neurogenetic and neurometabolic disorders particularly genetic epileptic encephalopathies and treatable metabolic-genetic conditions aiming to advance early diagnosis and precision-based therapies in childhood neurology.
