Dr. Sara Makkeyah: She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, Egypt, and completed the internship program in Pediatrics. She was assigned a post of assistant lecturer then a lecturer and a consultant of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Faculty of Medicine, ASU in 2011. She was appointed as an associate Professor in March 2022. She obtained the MRCPCH certificate from the Royal college of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2016. Sara’s work includes both academic position, as well as clinical Job as a consultant in Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology and bone marrow transplantation working at Ain Shams University Children’s Hospital. Sara completed a fellowship in Hematology at the University College London Hospital, London, UK, and she worked as a clinical fellow in Pediatric Hematology & bone marrow transplantation at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, UK in 2020-2021. She has also completed an observership on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in metabolic diseases and high risk leukemias at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Manchester, UK in 2022.
