Objectives:

 The symposium's primary objectives are to elevate the quality and visibility of pediatric neurology in Latin America (LATAM) through collaborative efforts. It aims to showcase the current state of pediatric neurology training in LATAM, highlighting its unique features and challenges. Additionally, the symposium will explore the involvement of pediatric neurologists in international organizations, detailing their preferences, expectations, and the benefits of such participation.
Furthermore, the symposium will highlight the significant contributions of local and international organizations in establishing standards of care for patients with various neurological conditions. It will emphasize the advantages and challenges of integrating multigenerational teams to enhance pediatric neurology practice in LATAM.
Lastly, the symposium will provide a comprehensive overview of the care for children with epilepsy in LATAM, covering its past, present, and future. By addressing these objectives, the symposium aims to create a collaborative environment where professionals can share experiences, learn from each other, and work together to improve the care and education of patients and families affected by neurological conditions in the region.
