The Developing Brain Unveiled

A Comprehensive Workshop on Neonatal EEG and Clinical Relevance

๐Ÿ“… May 25, 2026  (Monday)
๐Ÿ•˜ 0900 โ€“ 1220
๐Ÿ“ R201 BC  (TBC)
๐ŸŽ“ Moderators:  Vinayan Kollencheri Puthenveettil  /  Min-Lan Tsai

Workshop Objectives

At the end of this workshop, audience will learn to:

  • โ—†Recognize normal maturational EEG patterns by gestational age.
  • โ—†Distinguish between normal variants and pathologic findings in neonatal EEG.
  • โ—†Understand the aEEG and cEEG markers and recording.
  • โ—†Recognize EEG signatures of common neonatal neurological disorders (e.g., HIE, hemorrhage, metabolic encephalopathies) and interpret burst suppression, discontinuity, and other pathological patterns with clinical context.
