Scientific Abstracts & Free Paper Presentations
To ensure the integrity and fair dissemination of scientific information, the ICNC2026 Embargo Policy governs the public release of data and findings accepted for presentation at the Congress.
🔒 Embargo Timing
All accepted abstracts, oral presentations, and e-posters are under embargo until the official start time of their scheduled session during the ICNC2026 Congress.
For example, if a presentation is scheduled for 10:30 AM (Taipei Time) on May 27, 2026, its embargo lifts precisely at that time.
Abstract texts published on the ICNC2026 website or in the Journal of the International Child Neurology Association (JICNA) will be released publicly according to this schedule.
📰 Media & Public Communication
Authors, sponsors, and media representatives are requested to refrain from issuing press releases or public statements that contain results or conclusions before the embargo lifts.
- General announcements of participation in ICNC2026 (without data disclosure) are permitted.
- Background or contextual information unrelated to embargoed findings may be shared.
Any premature disclosure—whether by authors, institutions, sponsors, or media—may result in:
- Withdrawal of the abstract from the scientific program.
- Exclusion from press activities or awards related to the Congress.
📢 Social Media Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to share their excitement and insights about ICNC2026 using the official hashtag #ICNC2026, but must respect embargo times.
Posts or images containing unpublished data, figures, or slides before the presentation session begins are not permitted.
🧾 Exceptions
Exceptions to the embargo policy may be granted only in rare circumstances (e.g., urgent public health relevance).
Such requests must be submitted in writing to the ICNC2026 Scientific Program Committee prior to the Congress.
