Following graduation from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Mark Gorman completed pediatrics and pediatric neurology residencies at Boston Children’s Hospital. He then completed a two-year fellowship in pediatric demyelinating disorders and neuro-immunology at Harvard Medical School. In 2008, he founded the Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis, Demyelinating Disorders and Neuro-immunology Program. He is currently the Co-Director of the Neuro-immunology Center and the Associate Chief of Clinical Services in the Department of Neurology at Boston Children's Hospital, and an Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He takes care of pediatric patients with the full range of central nervous systemic neuro-immunological disorders with a multi-disciplinary team. He has special interest and expertise in opsoclonus myoclonus ataxia syndrome, is a member of the International OMAS Study Group Steering Committee, and the lead principal investigator for a multinational registry in OMAS.
